I absolutely adored this book!
Camille had me hooked right from the very start. I felt for her, I wanted good things for her, and then she started to drive me crazy!
Lazare and Chandon are fantastic characters as well and I loved the touch of queer with Chandon. I’d love to see his story.
This story is so rich, so visual, so tactile. Do yourself a favour and watch Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette while you’re reading, it’ll blow your mind!
This story had the right amount of romance, intrigue, revolution, and hardship to keep me oh so invested.
I can’t believe it took me this long to read and that more people aren’t shouting about this book from the rooftops! I need the next book like, yesterday!
