this BROKE me. deep down in my core. i had to pause & regroup SO many times. this was terrifying, heart-wrenching, gut-punching, soul-stirring in the worst way.
this has been on my WTR/TBR for a while because i knew it'd be HEAVY and it was HEAVIER than i imagined. the hope i had for monday & august sank to my toes & seeped out of me.
i sobbed so much towards the end, feeling the pain of monday & augusts' loss in my chest. the way it impacted claudia. they were babies. they deserved so much more.
i felt immersed in their story. this was phenomenally written, structured & narrated, but i hope to never to read a story like this ever again.
