Teen Titans, Vol. 8: Titans of Tomorrow
by Eddy Barrows, Mike McKone, George Pérez, Todd Dezago, Marv Wolfman, Jamal Igle, Sean McKeever, Geoff Johns, Randy Green, Alé Garza
This was way better than I expected.
With the loss of both Conner and Bart the Teen Titans are trying their best to regroup and figure out how to handle their team. They don't have too much time to do this as the Titans of Tomorrow reappear. You know the gun weilding Tim and his titans from Johns run? Yeah they're back and they aren't too happy on what the kids of the past are doing.
Overall this was action packed and pretty fun. It started little slow but soon as the Titans of Tomorrow show up things get super intense quick. With Tim doubting his leadership to the other Teen Titans finding out what's important to them, to watching the newcomers Meghan and Supergirl and Blue Beetle giving it their all.
This worked on a lot of levels for me. This was fun, exciting, I laughed a few times, solid art, and good pacing. This is what I want from a Teen Titans book.
A 4 out of 5.
