This was the first in the series that I've read so I didn't get to know the family dynamics and this cousin bet real well. I was able to follow along though.

Nash needs to win this bet- to not fall in love and be The Last Man Standing. Chelle needs to marry based on her father's will so she doesn't lose her foundation to a controlling uncle.
A marriage of convenience only needs to make it to New Years when they can get what they need and then divorce.

There were a lot of laugh out loud moments and a lot of spice (no sex rule- flies out the widow pretty soon). But just as these two fell for each other, I had fallen for them. So fun.

I didn't quite get the end, it seemed anticlimactic
