Killer by Sara Shepard

I like how each book ends with the "A" character letting us know that things are not as they seem and that the story is not over. I am very curious now who is the new A or possibly multiple As. I've also found that as the series goes on, there is less of label name dropping and more substance to the story.

I find myself really hating the parents in this series. I'm not sure if it's because the parents were more absent in the TV Show or if it's just one of those major differences, but especially Spencer's parents I really can't stand them. Aria's parents are trying, but I really did not like her mom for quite awhile and I loved her mom in the show. Even in this book, Ella seems a bit oblivious as to what's going on with her daughter and that is so sad to me.

I hope in the next book, Spencer gets the guts to ask her parents once and for all what's going on with their family. I think she needs to just confront the situation. I'll be interested to see if that part remains the same as in the show.
