The Forever War by Joe Haldeman
4.25

I love it when a writer actually uses time dilation with intelligence. And boy, Haldeman does it perfectly.

This could have been a total mess, total mayhem, impossible for the reader to follow and enjoy. But no, it all holds up remarkably well, and even manages to be funny at times.

It’s a book more about human relations and our connection to society than anything else. I do not believe it is a masterpiece, but it is certainly in my top 20 best sci-fi books.

Enough said, go read it.
