I feel that my review comes with a little bit of bias already as this was my favorite childhood movie and still remains my comfort movie today. This is my first time reading the book for fear that it would ruin the movie for me. I am so happy that it did not. I loved the story and I enjoyed the fact that Wybie and the dolls weren't in the book either, it made it so much scarier! I also liked the ending of the book even better than the movie, it was so clever of Coraline. Overall, I knew I wouldn't have a bad review for this story but I am surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did. It was a short read that kept me entertained until the end.
