BreathTaken
by Amanda Jaeger
Overview: First of all a big thank you to Amanda for giving me an ARC of this long awaited book. As a big fan of psychological thrillers I jumped at the chance to read it and I wasn't disappointed! It's a short book but jam packed with juicy action. It's one of those books that when you reach the end you think ... "what the hell did I just read?" And then immediately want to re read it to check out all the sneaky clues that were there all along but you were so caught up in the story you didn't notice.
Good Points: The ending...I was NOT expecting it at all and didn't see it coming. The writing was very unique and clever in places, drawing you in to thinking a certain way and then just smashing you in the face at the end. Definitely a clever unreliable narrator!
Not so Good Points: The only minor issue I had was that a certain description was over used.
A fantastic psychological thriller. And the cover is beautiful too!
