Silence of the Lambs—but make it romance. And I am here for it! 😂
Just like the first book, Worse Guy has an absolutely nuts premise—a jailed alien gladiator who’s lost most of his memories talks daily to a human social worker who is the only person on the planet, literally, who’s on his side.
This hero is such a vibe. He’s pathologically competitive, scary AF, definitely a baddy, and of course—he’s a clueless virgin. And then there’s our heroine: she’s compassionate and determined but she also has major ‘manipulative church lady’ energy. I loved these two together!! They both brought out the best in each other and I loved this HEA.
The steamy times in this book. Intense. Off the charts yearning, plus virgin hero, plus our hero’s extreme desire to be the best at literally everything (😉) he does. It was a lot.
How is it possible that a book with this much tension and danger feels this sweet and earnest? I loved it ❤️
