I'm trying my hardest to read every single day of 2025, but I woke up painfully sick and exhausted this morning, and I've come to realise that the thought of picking up and finishing this book makes me even more exhausted. I was determined to finish this book originally, despite not enjoying the writing and being beyond confused by the world and the characters, but I just plain don't want to read anymore. I have nothing against the author; I got to meet her last year, and she was absolutely lovely, but this just wasn't the book for me. I might come back and finish this book at a later date, but for now, I'm putting it down.
