I’ve found myself describing a lot of books like this in 2019 but this one was like a really good wattpad book. I won’t lie, that’s one of my favorite writing styles. the characters were all really likeable, the the plot was gripping, and the aesthetic was perfect. many of the characters outside of esme were pretty two dimensional but this is the kind of book where that isn’t a big deal. I definitely recommend this one if you like a lighthearted horror comedy or were a fan of danny phantom, my babysitter’s a vampire, or the halloween episodes of that’s so raven.
