Strange the Dreamer
by Laini Taylor
4.5 Stars
He knew that, but the dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around.
It was impossible, of course. But when did that ever stop any dreamer from dreaming?
WOWOWOWOW
I am once again reminded of why I love Laini Taylor's work! Her mind can recreate and make new characters and mythology that are nothing like I've read before. I fell in love with Lazlo and his dreams. The mystery underlying the whole book kept me glued page after page until the end. Each character was created for a purpose and a reason; the reader loves(and sometimes hates) everyone of them. The pacing of the book while leisurely was not slow for me, just perfect for the whimsical feel of the world. The magic that Taylor weaves throughout the book is one that I won't forget anytime soon. (However I almost wished that the book was left with the cliffhanger/open-ended, it would have seemed much more dreamlike).
