CSI Told You Lies
by Meshel Laurie
medium-paced
An interesting book. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of advocating for the victims and families, especially since a lot of true crime makes me uncomfortable and tends to disregard them, focusing on the perpetrators. I do think that it meandered a little, drifting away from the premise and forensic pathologists and leaning more into the sensational serial killers; but again, I do think there was a lot of compassion there. It also gives a interesting insight into Victoria and Melbourne, a lot of which even as a life long resident, I had no idea about.
Mishell Laurie's audio narration was excellent and you can really tell she does podcasts, comedy and radio for a living, going just by the quality.
