Well… that hurt. Qui-Gon’s grief can be felt through these pages. Seeing him so happy a few books ago as they pledged their lives to each other and feel his grief build as the days passed since her death was a lot. It was well written and heart wrenching.

But that doesn’t stop the fact that this was another very long drawn out plot. Barely anything plotwise happened the last book other than Tahl’s death. Then this book was so fast paced in one of the quickest wrap ups ever. There were too many names and things happening and it was such a large plot that it needed to be one 300 page book instead of multiple short books. It was a good book; but like the other multi-book subplots in this series they should have been reworked a little better.
