Let me start by saying Samiah started off strong right from the beginning. I admired her take no bs attitude, and couldn’t wait to see what she tackled next. I loved that these women created a bond after what happened to them. So often we see women in stories being portrayed as catty to one another, but I loved how they stuck together. It was as much as a love story for Samiah & Daniel to me as it was for all the women :)...I thought that the characters were well written, and Farrah made sure to give you insight into their background without doing too much. It would’ve been nice to see a bit more of Denise—Samiah’s sister but the other women gave me life so alls good. The best part had to be reading about a black woman in tech. I don’t consider myself a “techie” really, but I was so happy to read about a fictional black woman in the tech world & the pressures going through it. Overall this was a fun, beautiful, well written story. I recommend :)
