First off, that is the funniest looking Kangaroo I have ever seen. But he is bright and colorful and attention getting. I noticed this in book four, but it seems to be more prevalent in book 5. It's the / to separate sounds. It reads a little odd. Admittedly if you read the “More than a Storybook” section at the beginning it explains the / but many parents I believe will not take the time originally to read that section.
