So many gems and lessons on the reality of loving your body and empowering bigger bodies. I’m reframing from using the word “fat” because I do not belong to that community and do think I have the right to claim that word.
Jess makes it clear that her books is not to educate people on body positivity. She states that her job is to empower bigger bodies and help liberate them while also stating that you don’t always have to feel good about your body. She says those who claims that are either lucky or lying.
This book did give me insight into a lot of things I’m ignorant about. And led me on the path of becoming more aware of the privileges I do and don’t have.
