Ana Huang has done it again! This is my favorite in the Kings of Sin series, and probably my second favorite book she's written to date. Kai and Isabella are an opposites attract couple, but the chemistry is so palpable. I loved that it went beyond just physical looks for them, as they had a deeper connection and bonded over more than just attraction. This was perhaps Ana's most healthy couple, with good communication and no real violent tendencies or acts of treason (if you've read her Twisted series, you know what I mean). I didn't care for the third act breakup and I also didn't like that Isabella felt she needed to answer to her brother (you're an adult, you can literally do whatever you want) but I do think she grew and realized this as the book went on, and she proved she was fully capable of finding her happiness and being independent and not caring what her family thinks. As usual, the smut was amazing in this and I tell you, it's always the shy, introverted ones, isn't it? ;)
