Couldn't put this one down!
I love a lady who doesn't actually need a man but deigns to grace him with the pleasure of her company anyways. 💅🏻
The premise felt very Bridgerton season 2 (Shonda's version obv.) and once I started, I couldn't stop!
Lilah has a clandestine one night stand with an attractive stranger only to realize later that he is the Duke that is to be married to her step daughter? And now they must both act like they haven't met and are not completely drawn to one another?? The drama! I loved it.
(also, I love Lilah's brother already and cannot wait to get to his book)
