Mother Nature's Plan by Willie Bevan
4.0

This was a whimsical fantasy that was lighthearted and full of fun creatures, yet touched a very important subject about the environment and what corporations are doing to it and to our food. It was really interesting to read knowing the author owns a blueberry farm and has probably dealt with this issues first hand, but it was great to see it through a fantasy lens and with so much humor (the characters are quite funny and the banter between them is fun)
This story has a ton of fantastic creatures like gnomes, dragons, elves and many more! There’s a lot of character to keep track of, but the book has a nice guide at the beginning so you know who’s who and where they belong. It also has a cute map and adorable chapter drawings, and overall the formatting of this book is so beautiful it was a pleasure to read.
