After that cliffhanger we needed a book to piece us back together. We jump to 4 years later and everything has changed. This book has so much miscommunication that yes it can be frustrating but it was done so well. OMG I knew Lennon was dealing with something when she moved back and it hurt me when everything finally came out she was by herself other than Sam and her aunt.

The growth in these characters over the 2 books is fantastic but if I knew Claire did what she did I would have slapped her. She was insufferable and only cared about herself. Unfortunate what happened to both of them but it all happened for a reason and they found their way back to each other. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 3 🌶️ when they gave in to their need for each other it was something. I loved the chemistry between these characters.

I highly recommend this series the second book made me cry more than the first but be warned there is some miscommunication.
