Silver Under Nightfall

Polyamorous vampires & a disgraced vampire hunter?! Sign me up! I went into this book expecting a romanzas but it really is much more of a mystery. The world building was really interesting without being too complicated. There was a great balance of plot, character building & politics. I could have used more romance & spice. I was definitely not expecting fade to black.
I will say, I did not love Remy. He was just really naive. I don't know if Xiaodan, and Zidan could have made their intentions any clearer without hitting him in the face with it. . . oh wait Ziden did that! That and his loyalty to garbage human of a father, just annoyed me. He gets better towards the end, but not though. The other characters make up for it though. Xiaodan is literal sunshine and I loved her pushing the men together and playing referee. I really liked the fact that Ziden was more than just the broody tough guy, but also a genius scientist.
