Lao Tzu: Tao Te Ching: A Book about the Way and the Power of the Way
by Ursula K. Le Guin, Laozi, J.P. Seaton
reflective
fast-paced
I can see why Daoism and Anarchism often go hand in hand. This is the first translation of the Lao Tzu that I've read, and I found the individual words and overall themes quite meaningful. I'm not sure this is the best starting place to understand Daoism, but that's not what its meant to be anyways. It's a good and poetic interpretation. It makes me excited to read more translations and think more, which is exactly what I wanted out of it.
