Mini Book Review: After accidentally reading the 2nd book first, I wanted to go back to see where it all began. I swear author Huda Fahmy is hysterical. I found myself giggling at her references and I think she was able to get the humor and overdramatics of what being a teenager is like. She has a way of making the graphic novel feel personal, educating and still humourous. Huda is a freshman in high school and is trying to figure out who she is. I know now looking back that you aren't going to know who you are at 14-15 years old. She is working her way through it but also having to deal with the Islamophobia from others including her teacher!  I really enjoyed it!
