I went into this knowing it would be a heavy story. That being said, I have never read a more disturbing book. I had a really hard time getting through this one, and I am having an even tougher time finding the words to write a decent review. I finished this book back in July, and I have been struggling for 3 months to come up with something. All I can say is if the author’s goal of this story was to make the reader extremely uncomfortable, she succeeded. This book was an extremely dark, gutting read that will stay with you for a long time. Read & judge for yourself. You definitely need to be in the right state of mind to read this one.
