Frosting Her Christmas Cookies
by Alina Jacobs
This was by far the best Frost book. It was completely unique and entertaining. If read as a stand alone, one would not be aware of the massive differences in personality and relationships that Jonathan has in comparison to his big brothers.
He definitely is conflicted and has middle child syndrome. His fear of abandonment and his need to be loved is incredibly sweet and I just wanted to hug him several times throughout this book. Also, unlike his brothers he was very into being a part of the bake off and relished in the attention. It was a good change of pace from the grumpy resistance in the previous stories.
This is the third or fourth book I've read with Morticia. She has always been one of my favorite characters. She is incredibly talented, loyal, sarcastic, and entertaining. I pictured every dirty look, eyebrow raise, and flat tone she conveyed. I love her overall aesthetic and thick skin.
Side characters like Dorthey and the Svensson brothers were entertaining and kept me laughing. I was so grateful to get more insight on the Belle and Greg situation and can not wait for this book. While this can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading every single book written in this Billionaire world starting with the the Holbrooks.
I would love to see this made into a movie. It's too hot for Hallmark but I could see this on Lifetime or FX.
