Excellent illustrations, but I do agree with Debbie Reese's opinion that an author's note would be very helpful, just to make sure that the book isn't used to "come up with an Indian name" or to explain that the book is not specific to one tribe (or, if it is, which tribe.) Otherwise, it's an wonderful story.
