This book was EVERYTHING and so much more to me. Like #QueenMove it is my favorite from the lovely Kennedy Ryan…Yesterday, I told my friend that this book “violently tore out my soul, and returned it back safely” I’m dramatic, but we know this! This author can do no wrong by me, and I truly wish I had a bigger vocabulary to encapsulate exactly how I’m feeling.
Yasmen and Josiah are the perfect example of “time heals all wounds” or not necessary heals them, but sure enough you find a way to live and deal with them together. Also, understanding. Also, honesty. I mean, what these two went through, and what it took to find their way back to each other and themselves, 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. There were so many important takeaways from this book. It deals with mental health, grief, depression, stillbirth, suicidal ideation, etc. One of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read in my life, and I could definitely see this being my favorite book by the end of 2023♥️
Sorry, this is probably underwhelming🤣one day, I’ll have the right words. Maybe after my next reread. ✨Thank you again Kennedy Ryan!
