This novel was a ray of sunshine in a weekend of other serious reads for me.

The characters are very likeable, the familial conflict in the novel is believable and you truly do root for the romance at the novel's core.

The dialogue is easy and natural, the characters are all relatable and this book definitely leaves you with good vibes.

I actually didn't overly care for the poet element of this novel- I think the premise was good enough that the personality difference could have cause all of the drama! Despite this, I loved the writing of the characters so much that I have bought some more books by this author.
