Just as addictive as the first one, listening to the audio book goes by really fast. I still think Pip is an interesting character, she's one of the good ones, clearly, but man she makes questionable decisions. [EDIT: listening to the 3rd book rn and well ... idk if Pip clearly is one of the good ones after all ]
For the first book, I felt like the solution of the case was partly done well and partly a little too over the top for my tastes. This time, I felt like it was more balanced, which was great - at the same time, this lead to me putting more pieces together correctly a little too early on.
