This was a cute story told in a fun way! The bulk of the story takes place on the same day four years in a row, with flashbacks during each to fill in the gaps from what came before the current one. The days in question are school trips, freshman year through senior year. Lulu and Alex have been frienemies since they ran against each other for Freshman Class President and he beat her. They get stuck in an escape room during the freshman class trip to a science museum and get to know each other. They date on and off throughout high school and are facing the future after high school during their trip to London in twelfth grade. I enjoyed their on and off relationship and the format of the story, would definitely read another by the author!
