I have no words... this was not good. This will be the last time I listen to social media or those book groups because ABSOLUTELY NOT. This was instalove, but he literally stalks her and takes her virginity after they knew each other (and I use the term "knew" loosely) for mere days. It's cheesy and cringe and meant to be dark romance but it was just gross and a mess. There was no chemistry, no angst, no real plot, just nothing but obsession and smut. Also, please learn the difference between a possessive hero and one who is just controlling, isolates her and is basically abusive. And this supposed to be romantic? It isn't. She gets turned on by him stealing her body wash and leaving behind money. What??? Also, at one point, he decides he needs to "teach her a lesson" and he basically goes to her place and rapes her. Yeah, no. This is not for me and I cannot believe people like this.
