Wow.

Sarah Crossan always gets me. Every one of her books that I've read, I've loved.
My actual rating for this one would be 4.8. That's only because I don't feel the ending explained enough or gave enough back to the reader. But surely, every good book should leave the reader wanting more, in which case One did exactly that.
With this book, Sarah Crossan has gone into the depths of contemporary that some authors wouldn't attempt. And she's done it in verse.
Grace and Tippi's story is touching in every way, there's so much to it. So much understanding of people, not of appearances. Of emotions and life.
So many subjects and issues went dealt with in these pages and so many characters were brought to life - and effectively.
I would seriously recommend this book, maybe not to younger readers, but I think it has a lot in it to teach everyone. It was an incredible story and it's definitely going to stay with me.
