I stopped about halfway through. It's a really good book, but it's depressing as hell. I found myself torn between wondering why the poor dad continued to stretch things out if his quality of life was so poor and getting angry at how childish and selfish the kids were. The final straw was when they were racing wheelchairs at the hospital when they should have been learning to care for their dad after his surgery. I didn't want to read anymore.
