There was so much hype around this series that I was always super nervous to read it. I wasn’t sure if it would be something I would like because the summary never really drew me in.
That being said, I ended up really enjoying this book and I totally understand why so many people love it! It was different and action packed and had you wondering what was going to happen to the two main characters constantly.
The ending was never truly predictable and, despite this being a series, you get a very well rounded ending to the first part of the story.
All in all it’s a really great start to the series and I look forward to reading the rest!
