3.5 stars!

This was fun! I really enjoyed the premise. I am always weak for mythology and gods and what not, so I really enjoyed the world and the characters here. For the most part, I found that the characters personalities were well developed and they felt like solid people to me, which is always important for me in order to enjoy a story.

The plot was definitely interesting! I never get sick of the secret half-god born to a human premise. I mean, it takes me back to my PJO days, so how could I hate that? There were some parts within the plot I didn't really understand, like why the pillars felt they could put the royalty ruling all of the gods on quests rather than, you know, be loyal.

The writing style wasn't my favorite. It felt more middle grade but you know what? I still had fun reading it so it's not really that big of a deal.

And we got a cliffhanger! Gonna have to see what happens next!
