What I gather from this is that camp as a counterculture to elitism in the arts is an interesting concept, but I disagree with the means? It sounds so patronizing towards artists that produce "camp" and the theme I'm getting here is that it's usually art produced by people outside of the US which is offensive at the least and deeply conservative at most. Orientalism on steroids, but good for Harry Styles I guess...?
