I LOVED THIS BOOK. It’s charming and unpredictable. But it supposedly takes place in Connecticut + yet very much reads like a British woman wrote it (one did) as there is tons of British slang in it (fancy, cheeky etc)!! To me this would have been more effective if it took place in the UK or if Holly had an American editor to point out the obvious!
