While I liked the characters individually, I didn't feel the sparks. There was room for potential but the romance lacked depth and wasn't interesting. I'm not the biggest fan of second chance romance or marriage of convenience tropes and this certainly didn't convert me. The second chance felt irrelevant and the marriage aspect felt weak at best. That being said, both characters were likeable and had important conversations surrounding boundaries and I liked that. There was just a lot of flimsy parts that felt barely pieced together.
