It starts off a little slow as we are introduced to each of the characters but as the story progresses it gets faster. America is a loving character who really wants to help the people around her, even though she is a huge pick me girl at times her overall kindness won my heart. Maxon and America's relationship constantly facing new challenges helps visualize their growth and ability to learn from their mistakes. The ending left me back at my library grabbing the sequel and the writing style was quite enjoyable.
