Sorcery of Thorns
by Margaret Rogerson
Sorcery of Thorns ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(4/5 stars)
Though I had a slow start with this book, I have to say I really enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the world Rogerson created, especially the take on giving books life. I could picture all the grimoires and the halls of the libraries. Also along this thought, I absolutely love the name Scrivener. So good.
The character were great - Elisabeth, Nathaniel (my whole heart), and Silas! I never thought I'd feel emotional about a demon, but here we are. The book built up good suspense and had some great, witty writing. And that ending! I kind of wish there were more books to see what would come of it, but at the same time I'm really please with how it ended.
