I really didn't go into this book expecting to dislike one of the characters so much - especially Helen of Sparta/Troy. I'm not sure if it was the time jumping, the dual POVs, or just the characters themselves that made it difficult to connect with the story but I really couldn't connect to either sister.
As a character-driven book with little plot (there is some but if you are familiar with the story, you'll already know what is coming) I really need to connect to at least one character to keep my interest.
