The Half-Orc's Maiden Bride
by Ruby Dixon
Not going to rate this as this book just wasn’t for me so I don’t think it’s right for me to rate it, in my opinion. Do whatever you will with how you rate your books. 🤷🏻♂️
Probably my least favourite Ruby Dixon book I’ve read so far. Maybe the other books that are set in this world might be better. I dunno. This one was just full of things I don’t like or feel indifferent about in a Monster romance book. With this one it’s the way the relationship is handled (though cute at times) and the lack of building it further. Among other things.
I love Orc romances so I’m kinda sad that this and Girls Weekend by C. M. Nascosta didn’t work out for me. But hey, it’s okay. Both of them have small worlds and move into relationships (and smut) really fast and to some that is their perfect cup of tea. For myself, it’s not my cup of tea. My cup takes more time building worlds and relationships (which is why I adore Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon so much) with smut tossed wherever the author wants. And my cup is not everyone’s cup so yeah I’ll stop rambling. Thanks for reaching to the end I dunno if one did but glad you made it. Main takeaway is that this just wasn’t for me and that’s that 🙃
