I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
emotional
informative
inspiring
reflective
sad
medium-paced
This was very well written. I really liked the short chapters but it flowed really well! I think Jennette did an amazing job of highlighting subjects (grief, fame, child actors, eating disorders, religion, friendship, relationship, insecurity, therapy) and keeping it so real. I didn't feel like I was reading a celebrity's autobiography (minus obviously the chapters she highlighted on those topics), but was reading about a woman and her experience with topics that should be openly talked about. I would have to say this is one of my favorite autobiographies I've ever read.
