The Tenant
by Freida McFadden
In typical Freida fashion, this book gave me whiplash with all its twists and turns—in the best way possible. Unlike some of her other thrillers, I felt the characters in The Tenant were especially well developed; I actually grew attached to them, which made the suspense hit even harder.
I literally could not put this book down, and reading it as a buddy read made the experience even better. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is because of a few choices Blake made that felt unnecessary and honestly kind of annoying. But overall, it’s another addictive, twisty ride from McFadden that I’d absolutely recommend.
