Unraveling Him
by Claire Kingsley
Evan Bailey's story did not disappoint! I was really looking forward to his book because I wanted to know why he was so grumpy and brooding and mysterious. I'm a sucker for a good grumpy/sunshine story and this was definitely that trope, mixing in the one bed, forced proximity, family drama and some really cool cars. Evan was a grouchy loner mechanic who never wanted to talk to anyone and lived alone in a cabin in the woods... definitely my type of man. And Fiona? She was basically Snow White. Happy go lucky optimist who's an animal whisperer and talks to her plants like they're her pets. I loved seeing Evan come out of his shell and Fiona grow as an independent woman. Together, they were really cute and the tension was just so good. You can sense there's this underlying plot unfolding and I can't wait for the next books to see how it all turns out.
