this felt a bit messy to me.
between the absent parent, some money issues with everyone, robberies and the body swapping - non of it explained or really talked about at all- this entire volume built up a lot of questions, answered non and ended in a cliffhanger.
the art was okay, the writing was okay too but overall this felt more like a pitch of a story than a first completed part.
there were a lot of ideas but non of them really brought together.
also i think it’s a bit too much to pack into one short little volume.
and i understand that manga seems to love to drag stories out into as many volumes as possible so starting a story of with a handful of things all of them needing lots of pages to be explained might sound like a good idea, but i felt like this just didn’t do it in a good way.
a story about an absenden parent and that struggled would have been good.
a story about a young boy suddenly being body’s swapped without explanation on how something like that happened? a good story.
a person being in trouble not just with the law but with bad guys and being swapped into a different body? good story.
a guy willing to do anything he has to to survive? good story.
even a boy and a guy with different troubles being swapped? good story.
but it all together and explaining non of it and how it all came to that point?
not for me.
