Caraval wasn't as great as I was lead to believe.

I had my hesitations going into this. Mainly because it's YA and I'm starting to feel like YA is not for me anymore - with some exceptions. I thought this would be one of those exceptions. Caraval is so highly recommended that I thought it might suit me too.

But it was just very fast paced. It's good YA, but not so good that I would read the sequels.
