I would rather be a librarian, but I worry about the job security. Books may be temporary; dicks are forever.

What I loved most about this book is we went through this short story like any other, learning about our main character and the other characters. We had a plot (sort of) and we had a villain of sorts. But we never learned the name of the main character. How cool is that?
The first third of this book was exactly what I was expecting having already read Gone Girl (that was a shit-storm of plot twists).

The middle of the story was the best part. It’s creepy and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I’ll be honest I really wasn’t sure what kind of story this was once I got to the second third. Flynn had me guessing the whole time, is this an illusion or is it real?

The last third was my least favourite part of the story. This is where all of the plot twists were revealed and we were given our ending. An ending we got nothing out of, it was empty. I don’t always hate open endings but I would have rather had an answer to this story.
