This was such a heartwarming read! Ivy Perkins buys an old farmhouse on the heels of her divorce. When going through the items left behind by the previous owner she finds a Santa suit with a letter from a little girl in the pocket. Her curiosity piqued, she sets off in search of the writer. In the process, Ivy finds herself not only making connections with her new neighbors but also discovers the flame of attraction stirring with her real estate agent. ⁣

I loved the characters in this story - each one touched my heart. This community was Hallmark movie worthy and I could totally see why Ivy fell in love with all of it. I wish we had gotten a bit more but this is a novella so it’s fast moving and brief but it’s 100% full of charm, heart and a touch of romance. Unexpectedly, the romance was not my favorite aspect of the book. I loved the friendships and connections made and the story behind the letter found in the suit.If you’re looking for a heartfelt, cozy read - grab this one! ⁣
